With the strong requirement for Crew Transfer Vessel capabilities for high speed and safe transfer of crew to and from windmills offshore, Fjellstrand went one step further and developed the WindServer design with Trimaran hull

The WindServer is designed for exceptional sea keeping, also at slow speed ensuring safe access to the windmills offshore

The WindServer’ trimaran hull is designed for a light transit mode and a ballasted mode when approaching windmills in heavy seas. A large foil in the fore, a SWATH shaped centre hull, combined with active ride control by interceptors creates the unique seakeeping of the vessel

For bow connection towards the windmill a soft bow system dampens the contact and allows a 2 knot approach towards the landing pillars
